All of our does will be clipped down in the spring and their photographs updated at that time with better conformation shots, for now we have candid photos of each of our does, we hope you don't mind!

Athena is the herd matriarch on the farm, she is a beautiful dark buckskin with lovely dairy conformation. She got 2 seasons off from kidding but had a beautiful pair of twin doelings this summer. Athena is a gentle, sweet doe and is the largest of all of our does. She enjoys browsing in the woods, eating grain and headbutting the other goats. She is gentle and easy to handle and is quite the pro at going on and off the milk stand which will hopefully continue after she kids this summer.

Caddy is a pretty buckskin with
white overlay. She is very sweet and extremely food motivate so
training her to the milk stand was a breeze. Caddy loves to play
with Dixie, they came from the same farm together and are very
closely bonded. Caddy was a great mother this summer raising her
buck/doe twins, she was much more attentive this year then with her
triplets last year. Caddy is a smaller sized doe with nice
conformation and her udder was well developed this season, we look
forward to seeing its improvements over the years.

Dixie is a sweet, shy black and white doe with a frosted nose and ears. Dixie is a wonderful mother who kidded twins in 2010 and raised her beautiful doeling Wind Chime into the pretty gal she is today. Dixie is great friend with Caddy and keeps a careful watch on Chime even though she is nearly full grown now. Dixie likes to knock down trees when she browses, she is a bit unsure of the milk stand but is learning better manners every time she gets up there. Her udder was nice and full this past freshening and we're looking forward to seeing how it improves this summer after kidding a single beautiful doeling.

Almond Joy or just Joy for short is a pretty broken buckskin with a sweet, easy going temperament. Joy was a bottle baby and is one of our smallest goats, so she is very popular with visitors. Joy was a first freshner in 2011 with twin bucklings, she has a beautiful udder so far and has been a great mother. Joy loves to play headbutt with the other goats and is very friendly with people thanks to being a bottle baby.

Wind Chime was the very first baby born here on the farm. She is a lovely black and white doe, something of a mini-me to her momma Dixie without the frosting. Chime loves to play and browse around. She is a smaller doe with lots of spunk and spirit. Chime is a first freshener in 2011 with a single buckling and we're excited to see how her udder develops in comparison to her momma Dixie's.
