Other Rabbits The wonderful world of rabbits began for me with a beloved pet rabbit nearly 10 years ago. The farm is home to a handful of beloved pet bunnies, each with their own special story and engaging personality! Ruby *photo coming soon* Ruby is my original show bunny, a gorgeous REW English Angora who showed very well in her days, and even has a leg for BOV as a young senior doe. Ruby is elegant, poised, and a very regal bunny. She comes from Dru at the Rabbit Shepherds in NJ, and I am so thankful to Dru for this gorgeous gal. Ruby is retired and now a days gets clipped once every season to harvest her wool for spinning, she is mellow girl who enjoys being pet and snuggled with. She likes to hop around on cool days outside and goes absolutely bananas for oats! Ruby was a wonderful first show bunny, and it is thanks to her that I am so involved in the bunny show hobby now! Tristar Rabbits' Samson ![]() After years of seeing Holly's gorgeous English Lops, I finally broke down and got one! Samson is my only showable pet bunny! Sam comes from Holly at Tristar Rabbits in VA. He's a handsome junior broken tort English Lop buck. Samson is FULL of energy and personality, he has a real zest for life and LOVES to play outside and explore. Samson is very friendly and will hop right up to strangers to say hello and get head rubs. Samson has not been shown yet, but I'm looking forward to hitting the tables with him when I can, he's such a cool bunny, perhaps one day if he matures nicely and shows well I will find him a girlfriend. Tripod ![]() Tripod is my newest pet, and the smallest bunny in the barn! Tripod is from Kristen at Keep's Rabbitry in NC. This typey little woolie buck would have had a very promising show career if he had all of his limbs. Poor little Tripod is missing his left front forelimb from the humerus down. Despite his lack of front limb, Tripod gets around surprisingly well and is just the cutest little ball of fluff. He is the perfect size for cuddling and is a real sweetie pie. |
